CRSPEED 3v3 TOURNAMENT RULES

CRSPEED is a fast-paced 3v3 airsoft tournament. Play fair, call your hits, respect the refs, and have fun.

MATCH FORMAT & SCORING

Each match consists of 4 games, with each game lasting a maximum of 90 seconds.

  • Game Win: 10 Points

  • Successful Flag Placement: +5 Points

  • Maximum: 15 Points per game

  • All 4 games are played.

  • Most total points after Game 4 wins the match.

  • If total points are tied, a 5th tiebreaker game is played.

Points determine the winner of that match and do not carry into the next match.

HOW TO WIN & SCORE

Each game has a 90-second time limit.

Game Win — 10 Points: Eliminate all 3 opposing players or have more surviving players when the 90-second timer expires.

Flag Bonus — +5 Points: Successfully retrieve the center flag and place it at the enemy team's designated flag point before the 90-second timer expires.

The flag is a bonus objective and does not immediately end the game.

If a team eliminates all 3 opposing players, they receive 10 points, but the remaining time continues to run. The winning team may use the remaining time to retrieve and place the flag for an additional 5 points.

Maximum score per game: 15 points.

If both teams have the same number of surviving players when the 90-second timer expires, neither team receives the 10-point game win. However, any flag bonus successfully earned during the game still counts.

All 4 regulation games will be played, and the team with the most total points after Game 4 wins the match.

If both teams are tied in total points after Game 4, a 5th tiebreaker game will be played.

The 5th game follows the same 90-second rules. If both teams are still tied at the end of Game 5, the game will be reset and replayed until a winner is determined.

Points only determine the winner of the current match and do not carry into the next match.

FLAG RULES

The flag starts in the center of the arena and may be picked up by either team.

The flag must be carried and may not be thrown, kicked, tossed, or slid forward.

If the flag carrier is hit, they must drop the flag where they were eliminated.

Flag carriers may shoot while carrying the flag.

A successful flag placement immediately ends the game.

STARTING WALL & BOUNDARIES

All players must start completely behind their team's starting wall and may not cross it before the horn.

Your barrel must completely clear the edge of the starting wall before firing.

Players are not required to leave the starting wall, but there is no protected spawn once the game begins.

If one entire foot completely crosses outside the arena boundary, you are OUT. No ifs, ands, or buts. Touching the boundary line is allowed.

First false start = team warning and reset. A second false start by the same team during the match = offending player starts that game eliminated.

HIT RULES

All direct BB hits count, including hits to:

  • Body/clothing

  • Gear

  • Mask

  • Shoes

  • Gun/replica

  • Anything attached to the player

Ricochets do NOT count.

When hit, immediately call yourself out, raise your hand, and exit the arena.

If two opposing players hit each other at approximately the same time, both players are eliminated.

Once eliminated, players may not communicate positions, give instructions, signal teammates, or interfere with live play.

REFEREES & DISPUTED HITS

Players are responsible for calling their own hits.

A player may alert a referee once if they believe an opponent failed to call a hit. After that, continue playing and allow the referee to handle it.

Do not repeatedly yell at, pressure, or argue with referees for a hit call.

If a referee did not see or cannot reasonably confirm a hit, play continues.

A player's claim that they hit someone does not automatically eliminate that opponent.

Referee decisions during live play are FINAL. Questions may be respectfully discussed after the game.

REPLICA & CHRONO RULES

Maximum: 1.20 Joules

Players must chrono using the same BB weight they will use during the tournament.

  • Semi-auto only

  • One trigger pull = one BB

  • No full-auto, burst, or binary

  • Mid-cap magazines only

  • No high-caps or drum magazines

  • No grenades or throwable devices

  • No Minimum Engagement Distance (MED)

  • No blind firing

AEG, HPA, and gas replicas are allowed as long as they meet tournament rules.

CRSPEED staff may randomly re-chrono replicas at any time. Intentionally bypassing or cheating chrono may result in disqualification.

EQUIPMENT & ARENA

Equipment failure does not stop a live game. Dead batteries, empty magazines, gun malfunctions, or HPA issues do not result in a restart.

Players may retrieve dropped equipment as long as they remain inside the arena boundaries.

Players may use arena structures during gameplay, including aggressive movement over or around them, but may not intentionally move, damage, or alter any bunker or field equipment.

Approved eye protection must remain on at all times inside the arena.

SPECTATORS, SUBS & OUTSIDE COACHING

Spectators are welcome!

Only the 3 active players from each team may be inside the arena during live play.

Substitutes and eliminated players must remain in the safe zone. Substitutions may only be made between games.

Cheering is allowed. Outside coaching is not.

Spectators, substitutes, coaches, and eliminated players may not call out enemy positions, movement, hits, or provide gameplay information to active players.

SPORTSMANSHIP & PENALTIES

Call your hits and respect the players, refs, and staff.

Cheating, intentionally not calling hits, overshooting eliminated players, physical aggression, outside coaching, referee harassment, or intentionally breaking tournament rules may result in:

Warning → Player Elimination → Game Forfeit → Tournament Disqualification

CRSPEED staff may issue a more serious penalty immediately depending on the severity of the offense.

Referee and tournament staff decisions are final.

TOURNY BRACKET

The final bracket will depend on the number of registered teams.

When possible, CRSPEED will use a double-elimination format:

First match loss → Losers Bracket
Second match loss → Eliminated

Final bracket structure and match order will be announced once registration closes.
